A Division of FITT Resources

Working Under Pressure is Our Business

Tempress Controls would like to formally introduce our new partner and parent company, FITT Resources. Fitt Resources & Tempress Controls are now a true provider of “tank to tank” solutions from pumps, sealing of pipework, flanges and boilers, valve sealing, inline straining and filtration, bearing protection and  high quality instrumentation.

Tempress Controls and FITT Resources aim to be your one stop “Tank to Tank” solution as well as continuing all of our previous great services.

We have the finest pressure gauges, the finest thermometers and the finest pressure transmitters.  Our principals, Tempress AS, Labom and United Electric offer some of the most trusted instruments in the world.

We also have a full range of RTDs, Thermocouples, Thermowells,Temperature Transmitters and Thermometers

If you need to control or measure, pressure, temperature or flow give us a call or send an email.

TEMPRESS CONTROLS introduce our brand new HDD Electromagnetic flowmeter

This is an induction instrument designed using electromagnetic

induction to measure flow of conductive media inside a tube using Faradays Law. It utilises the CAN (Controller Area Network) fieldbus system.

Electromagnetic flow meters can provide local indication and can output a 4 20mA signal which can be used to record, adjust and control. Electromagnetic flow meters are widely used in industrial sectors such as chemical industry, environmental protection, metallurgy, pharmaceutical, paper making, water supply and irrigation.

Besides measuring flow of general conductive liquid, electromagnetic flowmeters can

measure flow of slurries, high-viscosity and saline containing fluids, strong acid and alkali containing liquids and others. HHD Series smart electromagnetic flow meters

consist of a sensor and a smart signal transducer. It is available in either an integral type or

remote type. The integral type electromagnetic flow meters utilise a transducer and a sensor assembly attached directly to the flow meter. It is usually used in an environment where local conditions are stable and dry and not excessively hot. The remote type electromagnetic flow meter has the sensor as a part of the meter while the transducer and display are part of a separate remote unit installed at suitable and safe area remote to the flow meter. It is usually used where there is a possibility of flooding causing submersion of the device, where the

meter itself may be in full sun causing high temperatures or in areas where access to the meter is poor causing difficulty in reading.
